An Ode to the King

Just like the Psalmist, My heart is indicting a good matter I speak as touching the King My tongue is the pen of a ready writer.   My lips are to the King, Singing and Lauding his praises All day and all night long   My dance is to the King Every twist and every turn Swinging in harmonious move to his name   My heart beats for my King, With every rise and fall in rhythm Resonating in reminiscence of all he has done   My Life is for the King, Wrapped-up like in a bubble Estranged from the noise a l’exterieur   Wound-up and engulfed  in his overwhelming love And distant, in a world where the vogue is to be aware   My eyes are for the King only Gazing at his beauty All in awe of his temple   And I shall dwell In the house of my King For ever and ever, Amen!
